In my internet adventures today I came across these super fun cupcake terra-cotta planters! Nikki at Whimsy-Girl put together a DIY tutorial on how to create your own! While she uses spray paint it would be such a great summer project for kids when school is out that I would suggest using a more kid friendly and less messy paint so they can create their own little works of art! Plus, how wonderful would it be to have your little ones artwork scattered about your yard <3
All you need are cheap terra-cotta planters, paint, a drill, a wooden dowel and a wooden ball (for the cherry), oh and a plant of course! 🙂 Check out the full DIY tutorial at Whimsy-Girl here.
SO CUTE! I want them ALL over my backyard! 🙂
