I just love finding recipes that are quick and easy. What I love even more is finding recipes that are delicious and better for my family. I was introduced to Hungry Girl about 3 years ago and I have loved all of the recipe books since. So, I couldn’t wait to review the new Hungry Girl 300 under 300 recipe book and the Hungry Girl Supermarket Survival book!
Hungry Girl 300 under 300: 300 Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Recipes under 300 calories Review
What I love about Hungry Girl 300 under 300 is that it has a recipe for every meal and even snacks. The recipes are all the foods I normally like to eat but Hungry Girl takes this meals and uses healthier innovative ingredients and the dishes still turn out delish but best of all with less calories, fat and all around more healthy. A favorite chapter of mine in this recipe book is the Fast-Food Makeovers which takes the unhealthy but oh so good fast food’s you love and Hungry Girl takes them and cuts out the calories, fat and insanely high sodium and makes them into a meal you can feel good about. Plus, if you’re on a Weight Watchers plan Hungry girl also calculates the PointsPlus® values for you making it even easier to stick to your points! I’m very happy with the recipes in Hungry Girl’s 300 under 300. There is a dish for everyone from Mexican to classic comfort foods and crock pot recipes. Some of the recipes we have tried out were Tuna Mushroom Muffins and Loaded Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs and both were delicious! I’m excited to make my way through more of the recipes so I can cook even more healthier meals for myself and my family!
