Pinky is a big snacker, she doesn’t eat big meals and prefers to graze on snacks throughout the day and I’m always trying to find new snacks for her. As she gets older she is becoming more and more of a picky eater who defaults to turkey and cheese, chicken nuggets and really any kind of fruit.
When I was offered to review Post Cereal’s newest addition to the Post Sesame Street Cereal – S is for Strawberry I was of course excited for Pinky to try something new that I could add to her list of snacks.
Post Sesame Street Cereal is specially formulated to meet a growing toddler’s needs, all three varieties – A is for Apple, B is for Banana, S is for Strawberry – provide 2/3 of a toddler’s daily whole grains per serving with only 1 gram of sugar. Parents can feel good letting little ones eat the cereal, which melts away for safe and easy consumption. Additionally, the fun X and O shapes are specifically designed for little fingers to grasp.
Each box features a beloved Sesame Street character, including Elmo, Cookie Monster and Big Bird, and includes two different educational activities parents and little ones to enjoy together.
So what is Pinky’s verdict ? She really likes all 3 of the varieties! When she first saw the boxes she got very excited to see some of her favorite Sesame Street characters including her favorite – Elmo.
After trying her first bite her response was, “Mmmm, that’s good!” Success! Another breakfast and snack item that I can add to the list and feel good about her eating.
I’m very happy that she loves her Post Sesame Street cereal and being that she doesn’t like to eat many grains it’s a great way for me to get another whole grain into her daily diet.
