I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love a massage, including myself, and one of my favorite things about going to have my hair done is the shampoo massage. I wondered on many occasions why there aren’t any massagers that can replicate the feeling of a salon shampoo head massage. I mean there are massagers for your feet, back and legs why not your head? Well now I’ve found it, the Pure Therapy Head and Eye Massager and luckily, I recently had the opportunity to review it!
My first thought of course is how the helmet looks like something straight out of Star Wars or Tron, doesn’t it?! I gave it a whirl the same night it arrived, how could I resist?! You place it on your head and there are adjustment knobs on either side of your head and at the top of your head so you can make it fit your head perfectly. The controls took a bit of learning but you are able to customize your massage to your liking from different pressure on the nodes, vibration intensity or you can turn off vibration all together. It has holes for your eyes so you can see out to see the controls so you can customize and adjust as it massages or even watch tv!
The Pure Therapy Head and Eye Massager uses Air Pressure and Heat Compression, the airbags massage your head, temples and eyes on acupressure points for relief of tension, stress, stiffness and headaches. It also has massage nodes at the temples and the back of the head. I love the nodes on the temples but wish the nodes in the back of the head could be turned off at times because they can be a bit intense and there are times I’d like to enjoy the temple massage alone. For the ultimate spa like experience it features relaxing sounds of music and nature, my favorite is the beach waves, who doesn’t love to imagine they are relaxing at a beach? Plus, it comes with a pair of headphones so it’s ready to go out of the box.
I’ve been using the Pure Therapy Head and Eye Massager for over a week now and all and all I’m very happy with it, I’ve mastered the controls and found the perfect settings for a wonderful, stress relieving massage. As a frequent headache sufferer it does a wonderful job of relieving my headaches. The controls also let you set a timer for 5, 10 or 15 minute sessions, I like to do a quick 5 minute session at the end of the day when Baby Digger is in bed. It’s great for helping me wind down and relax before bedtime.

Thanks for this article. My daughter told me she wanted an eye massager for Christmas. She wasn’t being serious, but now that I found this, I might seriously consider it. I might even use it before I give it to her.
