Happy Earth Day! Disneynature’s CHIMPANZEE Out In Theatres Today! New Clips and Featurette Videos

Disneynature’s Chimpanzee comes out today – Earth Day! If you go to see Chimpanzee opening week, Disneynature will give a donation to the Jane Goodall Institute to protect chimps. It looks like such a great film documentary and I love the young chimp, Oscar 🙂

Check out these new clips and featurettes just released!

  1. This looks really good, but hearing that something ‘bad’ happens to the mom makes me hesitant. I can already see myself crying 🙁 I don’t do well with sad animal things lol. This does look awesome though!

    1. I know I’d cry too! Even when its just a movie I cry so knowing that this really happened would make it even harder 🙁

  2. I am excited to see this. I absolutely LOVE how Disney can make this “documentary” enjoyable for children (not the little ones). I remember falling asleep when watching films about jungle animals and the such when i was in school.

  3. This looks like it will be so good. I think it is great that they will give a donation to the Jane Goodall Institute to protect chimps.

  4. This is the movie my daughter has been begging me to see and I’m taking her to see it the day it comes out.

  5. I misssed the opening week for donation but have heard a lot of good things about this movie. I tried to play the clips but for some reason sound would not work…am sure is my computer. But I really loved the scenery…SO beautiful! If we dont see at the theatre, we will definitely see when it comes to dvd. We dont get to too many movies with theater prices so high now it costs almost $50 just to get in for the 5 of us. Thanks for review!

  6. I am so upset with myself because I wanted to see this movie in the theater, but I never made it. Ugh, I could just kick myself. I especially wanted to go on opening weekend cuz Disney was gonna donate to the Jane Goodall Institute for each ticket sold.
When it hits store shelves, I’ll be first in line to buy my copy.
Thank you for posting the featurettes, I enjoyed ’em.

  7. I love these kinds of documentaries about nature and animals. It’s really sad how us humans are destroying their homes, in the end it’s just going to be us left if we don’t do something to protect these animals.

  8. Funny, grandpa & him open their mouth as if to say, see my food! The man that was mauled by chimpanzees is coming home to St. Louis now where I live. He has his toes & ears bitten off, and other bites & is in a medically induced coma. I had no idea they were that aggressive. I do like watching the chimps, could do it all day they are so funny though!
