The Big Game is just under a week away!Okay, so I’m not a huge football fan but I still love to watch the Super Bowl. BUT, my favorite thing about Big Game day is the food. I love grazing throughout the day on all the yummy snacks. This year I’ll be serving El Monterey Taquitos – Best Taquitos of the Big Game.
My husband LOVES them! Him and I gobbled them up. They are delicious and we tried them all – Southwest Chicken Taquitos, Jalapeno Ranch Shell Shockers Taquitos, and Cheesy Pepper Jack Taquitos – and they all have that authentic Mexican food taste that my husband and I love.
I did a test run of my Big Game dish over the weekend. They go great with a salsa dip or guacamole. I decided that they would also taste great with my slow cooker nacho dip recipe to go along with our Taquitos.
I created a football themed presentation to go with our Taquitos. I literally molded a football out of some foil, poured in my nacho dip and used some sour cream for the “football lace”. It makes for a tasty, festive dish to serve for your game day munchies.
