Getting the kids down for bedtime can be quite the experience some nights. Each child seems to have his or her own method of prolonging the bedtime process. Netflix polled parents around the world and put together this list of all the sly ways our kids try and squeeze just a few more minutes of playtime before bed.

My oldest, she’s a Master Negotiator and is always looking for reasons and pitching me on why she needs just a few more minutes. It’s but I’m not tired, can’t I play one more game, lets read another book – I could fill pages with the reasons my Pinky needs to stay up just a little longer.

This month’s new Netflix releases have been a huge win for kids and parents with the new Dinotrux ‘5 Minute Favorites’ and they’ve also added a couple new Netflix Originals that are favorites from my past – Care Bears & Cousins and Popples! Doesn’t that just take you back to the 80s?! I can smell the Aquanet and feel the tight rolled acid washed jeans now.
