a2 Milk® & Cookies without the Tummy Troubles & Chewy Blueberry Sugar Cookie Recipe

The beverage of choice in our home is milk. The girls would drink it all day if they had their way and they’ve tried only to find out that milk doesn’t quite agree with their tummies.

Because they love milk so much and because I love letting them drink it because it is a healthy choice.

a2 Milk® is pure farm fresh milk and for those who experience tummy troubles or Post-Dairy Digestive Discomfort can enjoy a2 Milk without any of these uncomfortable symptoms.

An independent study showed 1 in 4 Americans have discomfort after drinking milk; yet only 5-7% of the population has been clinically diagnosed with a lactose intolerance medical condition.

a2 Milk® contains approximately 6x the amount of calcium as soy beverages, approximately 8x the protein of almond beverages and approximately 6x the potassium levels of rice beverages.

A1 protein is the culprit behind many people’s discomfort after consuming dairy, and is currently in all conventional & organic milks on the U.S. market. a2 Milk® only comes from specially selected a2 cows, whose milk is naturally free of the A1 protein.

a2 Milk® is a pure replacement for chemically processed alternatives. Now you don’t have to sacrifice taste or nutrition with nut- or bean-based beverages or even worse cut milk out all together.

My girls really enjoy a2 Milk® and I am happy to say that it didn’t give them any stomach or digestive discomfort. They had quite a few glasses of it and even enjoyed a childhood favorite paired with milk, cookies of course! They loved it and got to enjoy their snack without any tummy discomforts they tend to get with other milk.

I made a big batch of yummy sugar cookies with blueberries and the girls gobbled them up and dipped them into their milk and sipped it. It made for a perfect summer Sunday afternoon snack! The berries in it give the cookies a nice fresh sweet taste that I think makes them a great summer sugar cookie.

They are delicious and very easy to make! If you’re short on time you can swap out a homemade sugar cookie batter for boxed. I made them from scratch and here is my recipe.
