Pinatas are a wonderful addition to any party and kids love them! But when children are too young to wack the pinata hard enough this is what happens –
love this commercial 🙂
In comes the DIY pinata project that Young House Love created.

A pull string pintata perfect for tots that don’t have the oompf to wack a pinata or hold a bat. Toddlers hold the strings and tug and all the goodies will come raining out! How perfect is that! They’ve put together the DIY Piñata tutorial here, so you can make one for your tot!

What a great idea! Back when I used to run some After School programs for kids at the YMCA, we made a pinata once but the kids did so many layers that the thing was as solid as concrete. I didn’t think they would ever break into it!

Wish they had these when my son was little! We had a baseball pinata at his 2nd birthday and no one could break it, my husband nearly beat the thing to death and then one of the little boys got hysterical because “Mr. John is being mean to the baseball!” HA! Visiting and following you back from Thirsty Thursday! Orangies Attic
Awww, sorry they couldn’t break it but what a cute story about being mean to the baseball!
